Not sure what to say?

We were with Paul and Norma in Tahlequah. We lived across the lawn from you. gWe feel like we got to know you both. Paul was so inquisitive about everything. We remember when he was testing a shot gun. He kept testing it on himself until he got a bit sick! He was great with patients. You all felt like you had moved to the edge of the earth—no delicatessen on the block! Norma got her masters at the local college at a considerable less cost than New York. We had some good dinners and...

Peaceful Passage Arrangement

A Lovely Man!

Mrs Barash and the extended family.
I only came to know today about Paul's passing away and received the news with a lot of sadness.
I am an acquaintance of Paul whom I had met and interacted with on many occasions both on my visits to the US during ASA meetings and during Paul's visits to Europe and elsewhere. I would enjoy honest discussions with him on scientific issues and enjoy his easy manner and wit.
Paul will be remembered with a lot of affection by his many friends,...

Dr. Barash was a tremendous teacher, and did so in a friendly and approachable way. He was kind and likable, making me feel special when I was just another resident, and showing me how to be an anesthesiologist and how to teach others interested in the field. I will miss him.

Please except my deepest sympathies to you and your family. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dr. Barash was one of the true greats. Sad to see him go. RIP.

Dear Norma and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Paul was truly a Giant in anesthesia, but more importantly he was so generous and kind. I loved working with him on his very successful texts, CDs, and apps. He was always, always looking forward and driving others to do the same. An inspiration! Condolences to all of you.
