Not sure what to say?

While I met Paul late in his life, I will always remember walking with him around the neighborhood. He was never at a loss to tell a great story. He helped me through a tough time in my life more than anyone will ever know. I just learned of his passing and my prayers are with Claudia and his family.

Just learned of Paul's passing back in December 2014, Claudia. I am shocked. I figured he'd live forever. Which he will as far as I'm concerned. Talk about heroes, he was mine since I was a freshman at Ysleta High School. He was a senior. I really miss him. My deepest heartfelt condolences to you and your children, to the entire family. Sincerely, Jake D. Sitters, Castroville TX

I think of Paul and believe that I'm one of many.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one. He was a very well accomplished individual and will be greatly missed. May the God of all comfort (Psalms 83:18) be your crag and stronghold (Psalms 18:2) during this difficult time. Please take care.

Dear Claudia and Family,

We are so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. What a great man he was and what a great couple you were together. Together, you brought such joy and laughter to so many people.

You and your family are in our prayers.

Blessings,
Keith and Connie Ward
Richardson, TX

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Paul grew up in a small Texas city and went on to fame in the NFL. He was my landlord when I started my medical practice in El Paso in 1979. He downplayed his prior accomplishments and preferred to make NEW history every day of his life. Lloyd J. Krapin, M.D.

My deepest heart felt sympathies. My condolences to your family.

Condolences from the Harper family. Sorry for your loss.
