To the Family of Paul Bates, please accept my condolences. I had the distinction of serving with Paul in the Nebraska Army National Guard. Paul could be depended upon to be where he was supposed to be and doing what he was supposed to be doing. I have many memories of our times during the "TAG shoot" competitions. Paul served his country well during his mobilization to Iraq and afterwards. Paul was a hard worker and a damn good man.
