Coretta, Amir and Omar: Each of you were blessed to have Paul as a husband and father. I was blessed, too, to have met, known and worked with him. A remarkable person is Paul and my fond memories of him and his good work for our City and State will remain with me as long as I'm here. You (and I) were very fortunate to have had Paul in our lives.

PAUL BATHER WAS A GREAT ALDERMAN AND A GREAT PUBLIC SERVANT. THE SHAWNEE AND CHICKASAW COMMUNITIES BENEFITTED GREATLY UNDER HIS WATCH. I WILL ALWAYS APPRECIATE HIS FRIENDSHIP AND BE RESPECTFUL OF THE WONDERFUL ROLE HE PLAYED AS A FATHER OF TWO BLACK MALES. HE WILL BE MISSED.

Dear Coretta, May you find peace on earth as Paul has found in his rest. Paul was a gracious and kind person and his life was a good and worthwhile journey. I'm sure God was pleased at how well he carried out his earthly assignments. A great representative for the people and a great representative for God.
