I was so saddened to learn of Paul´s passing. His name evokes many memories of time spent at the Western College of Miami University. So pleased to know he was able to share his interdisciplinary education in so many communities, believing that along his journey he made life better for those he served. Our hearts go out in sympathy to his family and mostly his wife at his passing. May the many memories of good times fill the void caused by his loss. Sincere Condolences, Joseph (Joe)...

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was an individual who left an impression with everyone who met and worked with him. So knowledgeable, sarcastic wit and committed public servant. However another former coworker and I learned Paul was skilled at a family recipe which entailed making apple waumpus. He taught us on a visit to the farm and it was a great time. God bless you all and know that Paul will always be with you.

When I think of Paul the first words that come to mind are sincerity and kindness not to mention a really good beer drinker!

Paul and I had an invigorating relationship. He taught me the history and foundations of municipal government and I challenged what could be in the future! He was steadfast and always had time to share his point of view. Just when you thought he was predictable, he'd show up decked out for the ugly sweater contest grinning happily like a cheshire cat! I miss you my friend. I will carry your wisdom....mist likely missing opportunities to share it while you quietly reprimand me. :)

Paul and I were a collision of how things are and why and how they could become. He taught me much about municipal history and I shocked him with possibilities. We were more opposite than the same yet the friendship was invigorating. Just when you thought you knew his next move, he'd show up to participate in the ugly sweater contest at work! Dressed absurdly with a Cheshire grin. I already miss you more than I thought. Rest well my dear friend. I will continue to do my best serving Euclid...
