Funeral for Paul Mark Black, 36, of Athens will be Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bill Irby and Wayne Kuykendall officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Black, who died Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, was born Aug. 5, 1971, to Paul Edward Black and Wendolyn Louise Webb of Decatur. He was an employee of Boeing of Decatur for the last seven years, and a former employee of Dunlop of Huntsville. He is preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Paul Michael Black, grandparents, Louie and Louise Webb and Raymond and Rosalie Black.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Black; son, Matthew Riley Black of Athens; his father; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Betty Tennison of Anderson; and sister, Terri Lynne Black of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Randy Carter, Chris Morrow, Tab Black, Dennis Black, Miles Craig, Jeff Black, Marty Nelson, Lesley Garris, Charles Owsley and Darren Aderholt.
Memorials may be made to Athens Dixie Youth Baseball Association, P.O. Box 1414, Athens, AL 35612.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Mark and I were friends from 1st through 12th grade and he was a good friend—he was always a joyful person. My family and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I attend Elkmont High with Mark from 1st grade thru 12th grade. I will always remember his smile and laughter. He was a good friend to everyone and will truly be missed by all that knew him.
