Paul Strong Bliss

I worked with Paul Bliss as his administrative secretary, first at Seattle General Hospital where he served as administrator, and then for one year at Blue Cross where he was a Vice-President. I kept in contact with him over the years and always valued his friendship. He was a good boss, a good mentor, and a good man. I remember him fondly and am thankful for his guidance and friendship.

I fonndly remember Paul from his days as vice president of Blue Cross of Washington and Alaska, which he joined about 1974. He was a supert man and top executive. His work with Blue Cross preceeeds his affiliation with Swedish. He was executive director of Seattle General Hospital (which merged into Swedish).
