Not sure what to say?

In my first entry here I failed to remember something illustrating that of which I spoke: Father Bondi's acceptance and tolerance of:

I recall Father Bondi's glance one Sunday Morning as I, an alter boy, tripped on my somewhat long gown upon climbing the alter steps and, before laying myself prostrate, sent the alter bells jangling uproariously past his feet and across the entire alter.

Having had a lackadaisical attitude regarding knowing when to ring them in the first place...

I will remember Father Bondi as a gentleman of a bygone era; cerebral and tolerant, always an accepting and open heart....

Father Bondi, thank you for being such an important part of our lives. God bless you!

You will always be in our memories and in our hearts. You were a true leader and friend. From religion classes to Sunday mass you were always inspirational.

Father Bondi was not only a great community leader but a truly great man.

I went to St Mary's for years and years before I joined the military. I phoned Father Bondi while stationed in Alaska and asked if he would marry my fiancee and me. He married us while we were on leave before heading out to Germany. He announced us as Captain and Captain Hathaway. We are going to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary this year. Father Bondi will remain in our hearts just like any member of the family.

Even though I no longer live in Ballston Spa, I grew up there going to St. Mary's church and school. Father Bondi gave me my first communion, helped prepare me for my Confirmation, and even performed the marriage ceremony for my wife, Susan, and I. I was an alter boy for many years for Father Bondi and enjoyed our talks before and after Mass, usually about sports. I will miss in greatly, but glad that he is with our Creator.

Father was a very holy man and a dedicated
priest. We considered him part of our family
and we will miss him very much.

Fr. Bondi was a piller of faith and a gift from GOD. We are all blessed for having known him and will miss him deeply. He is now with his Creator.
