I knew Paul when he was Scoutmaster of Troop 97 and always felt he was one of the better Scoutmasters of the Sussex District in the way he ran his troop. I was the District Advancement Chairman and after Paul stepped down as Scoutmaster, I brought him on to the District Advancement Committee as an Eagle Scout Advisor. He stayed in that capacity until he wasn't able to continue because of his illness. I liked Paul and enjoyed our conversations while driving to Eagle Scout Boards of Review....
