Not sure what to say?

Dr Brewer guided my studies as a philosophy major at C-N. He was witty as well as intelligent. I will remember him fondly. I am a better person for having benefitted from his scholarship and friendship

Well done, good and faithful servant. You have touched the lives of so many, and I will forever remember your wit and wisdom. I now have a new parable of the Kingdom; it begins with, "The Kingdom of God is like this, there once was a man named Paul Brewer ..."

I have learned from my Tennessee tennis teammate that Mr. Brewer has gone to the Lord and I want to let Mo, David, Don (RIP), and Danny knw that I am thinking about the Brewer family. Mr. Brewer was so kind to me when I came to Tennessee and I have never forgotten that and never will. Tracy DeLatte

So sorry for your loss.

Dr. And Mrs. Brewer have been so kind to my family through the years.

I was Blessed to have him as a Professor, but after Carson-Newman, it was great to have him as a friend !! We talked of many things-life, sports, volunteer work, and just catching up with he and Ms. Imogene.

I am sad for Mrs. Brewer and the family for his passing and I will miss him, but will always remember him as a friend that had a positive influence on my life.

I did know Professor Brewer well, but as a student at Carson-Newman College I took a course in Philosophy and remember him fondly as very pleasant teacher who had a genuine interest in his students. I am so impressed with the wonderful testimony of his commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and his faithful service for Him!

In April I met with Dr. Brewer and he told me he was dying. I sent a letter attempting to thank him for his many contributions to his students, colleagues, friends and Carson-Newman. Here are excerpt:
I made an effort to say thank you for all your students, for what you have given us. But mine was a weak effort. Your influence is beyond any mere Thank you. The currents of your influence on the lives of thousands of students shape them and many others. Some of your students became...

Mrs. Brewer and family, I am grateful to have known this Saint and am happy he has received his eternal reward. I am praying that God will comfort you in the days ahead.
