Monsignor Brigandi was more than a priest and a monsignor to me. He was an important role model ever since I served under him as a young altar boy at St Anthony's in Endicott long ago. In later years, I moved to the Southwest, but managed to reconnect with him whenever I returned home for a visit. Most recently, last August. We were blessed to have Father Brigandi assist in our marriage in 1961 at St. Anthony of Padua in Endicott, New York. He was well remembered.
