I have known Paul and Frances for almost 44 years. I worked with Paul as a physical therapist at Roanoke Memorial Hospital when he suffered his stroke. I was amazed at the support he and his family had during this time. The leaders of the Roanoke Valley came together and provided bedside care throughout his stay until he was transferred to another facility for rehabilitation. Dear Frances and Family, What an exceptional man Paul was. I have fond memories of our support group when he would look very serious and then say something totally hilarious! Both of you saved me when our son sustained a brain injury and you tracked me down at UVa to offer help and comfort. So many are blessed to have you and Paul in their lives..

So sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to have known and worked with him both at United VA Bank and then again when Colonial American merged with Crestar. Great man. He will be missed
