Paul D. "Bampa" Burhans, 70, of Wellsboro, died on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born on Feb. 14, 1945, in Staten Island, N.Y., a son of the late Donald Louis and Maria C. (Gonzalves) Burhans. Paul formerly worked at His Thousand Hills and attended the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church, Wellsboro....

My dear Jean & Family .... I just learned today of Paul's passing. I was attending a Church service for my Dad who passed away March 20th and a lady Paul & I use to work with told me. I am so heartbroken for you! I can't tell you what a great spiritual comfort Paul was to me years ago when we worked together at IP Woodlands ... he brought me through many dark days. I will always remember him and will keep you always in my prayers. The world has lost a truly wonderful person. Carol
