Not sure what to say?

Me and my niece Emily.

I always had great memories of visiting Uncle Paul at the original Buscemi's and eating pizza while my dad, Carl, talked with him. Last year I started talking with Paul about my family history. I called him in August to make a trip and see him. Unfortunately he wasn't doing well at all. Paul, I want to thank you for giving me some sweet childhood memories. Love you. Kimmie

inter-am Bendt Aberg and Carl Buscemi

I met Paul years ago through my my dad Sam Buscemi and thru the years have always kept in touch. I lived across the street in the apartments while i was racing motorcycles, and having parties and enjoying the pizzas and sub sandwiches and of course seeing Paul and all his people, who were always so upbeat. Never forget those days. Thanks Paul for all your kindness.

The Buscemi family gained an amazing guardian angel to watch over all of you from above. His legacy lives on thru all of you, in your heart, in your ways, in all the wonderful memories he left behind. I pray the Lord sends you the strength you need to get thru the upcoming Holiday's hopefully knowing he is home with his heavenly Father brings you comfort. All our Love and prayers, Valerio & Mary Gallo-Poliuto

Many prayers and condolences to the Buscemi family. As a kid, visiting the Gratiot store with my grandfather was always very special because of Paul's kindness. The warm friendship Paul extended to my father, especially in his last years, will never be forgotten. May God give comfort to all of your wonderful family.

I met Paul a long time ago, through my Uncle Joe Ramoge. In all that time, I don't remember a cross word or a negative comment from him. I loved hearing his stories about getting started in business. And I'm glad I got to congratulate him on his recent acknowledgement for his efforts in World War II. My sincerest condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Paul.

Mr. Buscemi you were always so nice to me when I was a kid. I remember when you opened that restaurant on the corner of 12 Mile and Utica, you had the light company lay out the Tiffany Lamp Shades and you let all of the neighborhood kids pick one out...I thought that was the coolest thing. R.I.P. Mr. Buscemi, I will always have fond memories of you.

My deepest condolences and prayers to the Family!

We had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Mr. Buscemi for approximately 10 years as neighbors. He was a fine man who will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Buscemi family.

Nancy and family, I'm very sorry for your loss, fun memories of making pizzas with your dad.
