Not sure what to say?

Dr Paul was my pediatrician. I spent three years with an illness that we never figured out what it was. I would be fine then complain to my mom that I was tired. My fever would skyrocket and many times my life was in extreme danger. Mom would call and Dr Paul never failed to meet us at the hospital. I owe my life to God and Dr Paul.

I am very honored to have known Dr. Paul Busiek. What a blessing to have worked for him during my college days. Every day a joy. A true patriot and a loving, Godly man.

I hope my message will be seen by the family, but doubt at this late date it will. I am so sorry to just be finding out so long after Dr. Busiek's passing.

My family and I know that Dr. Busiek likely saved my life almost 60 years ago. My momma would hold me for hours trying to help me stop crying in pain for my first year. Dr. Busiek would come to the house and take hold of me and I would settle down! Then, I clearly remember at 2 and 3 years old, he would call me Theodosia, give...

Thinking of you Leigh, Gray and family; sending Prayers for comfort and peace.
My family and I have spent many wonderful times hiking and playing in the creek around Busiek Park. It has been a favorite destination for most of my life.
My Thanks to Dr Busiek for offering up such a beautiful place for others to enjoy; it is apparent that he was a unique person on earth and will be smiling on you all no doubt.

Sincerely, Suzy Ward, Strafford, MO

So sorry to hear the loss of this great man. Alot of memories at the Busick house as I spent alot of nights there with Leigh. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

My husband, Eric and I, met Dr. Busiek in the mid 2000's when he requested that we look at a potential Cave on his property. A few members from our grotto had the honor of mapping the cave(s) for him. My husband drafted the map, aptly naming the caves after Paul. If the family would like a copy please contact us. Our very deepest condolences to the family of this humble individual who obviously held a high regard for our beautiful Ozarks.

Mavis and family sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Was a great asset to Springfield and the state of Missouri. I've been in your lovely home many time times for different kinds of meeting. Even owned for a number of years a desk (Gene Sooter owned it first) owned by Paul's dad at his doctors office. Not many left with Paul's stature...........

Doc was a friend and mentor and will be deeply missed. I remember fondly being summoned by Doc on multiple occasions to "finally" help him organize his vast library. As usual we would start in, collecting renegade books from all corners....then inevitably it would get quiet as we both found ourselves thumbing thru a book and predictably pausing to read it. Then after some time we both would look up at each other over the edge of a cover and just laugh...he would dip his head, look over his...

Mavis, we are so sorry to hear of Paul's passing and may God wrap his comforting arms around you and the family. God Bless you in your time of sorrow. Love you.
