My thoughts and prayers go out to the Butterfield family. My children went to school with Paul and I remember what a fine young man he was then. I want to thank Paul's family for his service to Michigan as a Trooper and for his service to our country as a Veteran. May the love and support of family and friends help to carry you thru this most difficult time in your life. God bless and keep all of you in his care.

My heart is heavy with sorrow for Paul and his family and loved ones. Thank you for your service. There really are no words for how sad this all makes me feel.
