Not sure what to say?

Mr Buttweiler was one of the best teacher's I ever had at Tech. I was in his Human Biology Class in 1967-68. He really cared about his students and their lives both in and out of school. He was fun and funny, was always available to talk to students and was not only a teacher but a mentor. He made everything interesting. He had a way of making a student feel important and made me feel as though what I had to say was important to him. I am very thankful that I had the honor of being one of his...

Mr. Buttweiler taught the best Human Bio class I could imagine! I became an RN and took A and P taught by an excellent instructor but it was not as in depth as Mr. Buttweiler's. I will always be grateful for his wonderful teaching!

Mr Buttweiler was the best teacher I ever had at any level. He really cared about his students and inspired me to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. Rest in Peace Mr Buttweiler. I will never forget you.

Paul was such a good Human Biology Teacher.
I was one of two boys in a class and he had me help the girls pith their frogs. The smell of formaldehyde was not my favorite while dissecting fetal pigs but Paul got me through it. He made a difference in my life and I will always be grateful. May he Rest In Peace and I send comfort to his family.

Mr. B, Papa Buttweiler, was my favorite teacher. He was always so excited to see his students learn and succeed. He was kind and genuine and made sure you knew he thought you were important. He will be truly missed.

My condolences to the family. I remember him coming to some of Sawyer and Devon's Scout activities always a very happy and proud man. May he live on in many hearts.

God bless you and rest in peace Mr. B! You were my absolute favorite teacher of all! You're laid-back style and hands-on teaching methods helped shape the teacher I am today.

I was a student in Mr. Buttweiler's class in 1984. I liked him from the first day. He was an excellent teacher and wanted his students to excel. I can vividly recall the oral exam with a fetal pig. He was a gentleman and he was authentic, hard, but fair. I learned more in his Human Biology class than I did in many other classes. What I learned in his class has served me well in the Health/Human Services industry for over two decades.

LOVED your class Mr. Butler. LOVED your kind manner! So many fun memories of your fair, completely functional, humorous, but straight forward manner. You can only be well remembered. Sending good will and wishes of comfort for your family. Julia Schoborg, Class of 75.
