I am so saddened to hear of our loss of Paul. As children I had a lot of good times together when visiting Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Russell as well as with Lewis and Jane. All of you were a special time in my life. Calvin passed away last June after an extended illness. Both of us were in nursing homes and I still am. May you find comfort in the days ahead and know that all of you are loved.

Paul was an instrumental member of Delta Sigma Phi in the mid-60's. As a pledge to that fraternity, I grew to admire Paul as a man of integrity. He embodied all the leadership characteristics expected by our fraternity and he was a role model for so many of us. He was a genuinely fine man.

Remembering Paul from the 1960 Boy Scout Jamboree and in subsequent Scouting activities. He was well-liked and always supportive of the Scouts.

A fine person. I had the privilege of going to the Boy Scout Golden Jamboree in Colorado in 1960 with Paul. Remember the great times well.

When Paul was working with the Cherryville Eagle, he came by our funeral home in Cherryvile, Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home, I always enjoyed his visits. He would have a cup of coffee with us, talk a little then be on his way until the next time. I am sorry to learn of his passing, I thought about him often and enjoyed his friendship. The family is in our prayers!
