Not sure what to say?

Paul was a good friend who never said a harsh word to others. His charity was generous, but private. He loved to smile and laugh with friends. At the White Lake Senior Center we are all aware that we will lose our friends, but Paul's death brought acute sadness.

What can you say about a man who treated you like a son for fifty years? He taught me so much about construction ("you can't see it from the road"). Every time I drive by the blue house on Old Channel Trail, I always remember the time that Paul, Helen and I painted that house "Carlson Blue". He was one of my father's closest friends for as long as I can remember. I'll never forget the weekend that Paul, my dad and I shingled the garage at the cottage. He taught me how to hold the nail...

The Spathiphyllum Plant

My Dear friend Paul,
He sure will be missed. I've known Paul for some years. My long lasting memory of him will be his humility.
I first met Paul as the White Lake Senior Center. And eventually he became on of my clients, getting a pedicure every couple months. Our 45 minutes to chat were always a joy for me. I was always glad to see when he was on my schedule.
Our conversations often were about his involvement as a para trooper in the Korean Conflict. Such a brave...

I really enjoyed serving Paul at Gary's restaurant. He was always very pleasant and always had such a good sense of humor. He told many stories of his past which I truly enjoyed listening to. He will be greatly missed by all of us there.
He was a really great person.
So very sorry for your loss.

One of my finest friends,,,,,a great guy,,,,,He will be greatly missed.... Condolences to his family.......

Paul was such a blessing. He always brought joy and happiness to our family gatherings, and was so wonderful to my mom Jackie Current and my grandma. He will be greatly missed!

I became friends with Paul and his close friend Jeff Jefferies while building my house on the lake back in 1997. Paul recommended Jeff as an Electrician and Paul was Building Inspector. Both of these guys possessed a wealth of knowledge and were invaluable in my success. Paul is one of the last of a generation of men with common sense, physical skills and problem solving ability that is now almost gone. I am lucky to have known him and fondly remember the good times I was able to spend...
