Mayor Cassidy...On behalf of the Schmook Family thanks. May you rest in peace. You were a good man.

Mayor Paul W. Cassidy, you are a wonderful person. Thank you for all you've done. Rest in Peace, God Bless you and your family.

My father (Bill Opperman) and the Mayor were very close in the 60's and 70's.
My dad always spoke highly of Mr. Cassidy. He was a great mayor and a great man.

It was an honor to be associated with Mr. Cassidy and his family.

Mayor Cassidy and Mrs. Cassidy are heroes to our family. The Mayor represents the very best of the greatest generation in devotion, patriotism and service. All the kids who played football in their back yard or who performed on the stage of the Cassidy Theater say "thank you" for being such wonderful examples of love and faith in action. May your example live on in the lives of all so blessed to know you.

MAUREEN
SORRY TO LEARN OF YOUR "DAD'S" PASSING.
I RECALL THE TIMES I VOTED FOR HIM AS MAYOR WHEN I LIVED ON EDGEBROOK BLVD.
YOU ARE BLESSED TO HAVE HAD YOUR FATHER
FOR SO MANY YEARS. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AT THIS TIME. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS TIME.

Cassidy family,

My deepest sympathies on the passing of a leader who mentored many of us in public service.

His wisdom and deep affection for his community served as an inspiration to all public servants.

Take comfort in knowing how many of us support you during this difficult time.

Thomas George, former Mayor City of Lakewood

May the good Lord bless the Cassidy family during your time of sorrow. I will always have found memories of the Mayor attending our Labor Day parade on Woodview Blvd. He is a true American hero and will be missed.

When we purchased the Kuhn home on Greenbriar Dr several years ago, saw THE MAYOR coming out his garage and we had a great conversaton remembering the Parma Heights I grew up in during the 50's and 60's.

I will always recall the congratulatory letter he wrote the cast of My Fair Lady in 1964. Still have it.

Parma Heights was a great place to grow up in as a youth with all the recreational things available. His leadership shined with an outstanding staff that made us proud to...
