My condolences to the Cerniglia family. I am from Rockford and lived in Carbondale and Springfield, so I knew the Cerniglias in many different cities. When my father, Val Eddy visited me while I was in college in Carbondale, he made sure that we went to visit Coo-Coos and spend some time with the family. I even remember the Herrin restaurant and the calendar of the guys! And I remember Pat, who was friends with the secretary in my graduate school department at SIU. I lost my Dad 4 years...
