I FIRST MET PAUL IN EARLY 1970 AT COMBAT SCHOOL. WHAT A SHOCK TO FIND OUT HE WAS FROM SYR. AREA. WE WERE BOTH HEADED TO THE SAME BASE IN NAM. WE SPENT SOME TIME TOGETHER WHILE ON LEAVE. WE DID SOME SERIOUS PARTYING PAUL MYSELF AND MORRY. THE THREE OF US HAVE STAYED IN TOUCH ALL THESE YEARS. I CALLED MORRY AS SOON AS I FOUND OUT,HE LIVES IN WIS. PEACE DEAR FRIEND.

i am so sorry to hear of paul's passing. i went to west genny with him and had several classes with him and counted him as a friend. we played a little golf together back in the day also. as to often happens i lost track of paul post-grad from genny but i have fond memories of paul as a friendly guy with whom i shared my west genny years with. i am deeply sorry for your loss.

Please allow me to tell you how I knew Paul. We were co-workers at the the Post Office on Taft Rd, for many years. He was a tough guy to know in a stressful working environment. He seemed to put a protective, almost defensive bubble around himself at work. He always had on his game face. Unless you got to know him like I did. Here was a guy with a fantastic sense of humor. And generous to boot. If you were sitting with him at any local watering hole, and he enjoyed your talk, you could not...

PAUL WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED BY ME ,I WAS HIS HOME CARE NURSE FOR LAST 5 YEARS. IVE BEEN WITH PAUL SINCE THE BEGINNING OF HIS SHOOTING ACCIDENT.PAUL AND I LAUGHED AND CRY ALOT TOGETHER HE WOULD TELL ME THAT I WAS HIS FAMILY.I WAS RIGHT BY HIS SIDE THROUGH HIS HEALING PROCESS.PAUL WENT THROUGH MANY DIFFERENT HOMECARE NURSE'S OVER THE YEARS,BUT ALWAYS KEPT ME COMING BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR. FUNNY PART IS THIS PAST YEAR HE WAS MY SUPPORT DO TO MY OWN FATHER WAS SICK WITH A MASSIVE STROKE.WEEK AFTER...

So very sorry to view in today's paper Paul had passed. I graduated with him in 1967 from West Genesee.
He was in a couple of my classes and was a great guy and will be surely missed. Again, my sincere condolences to his loved ones.
