Dear Larry and family:

So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Many a year he and I talked at my office as I did his tax return. I would bring the return to Glenridge and he would insist on buying a drink before I left. What a consider man he was. I know you will miss him terribly. Again my heartfelt condolences.

Paul Comegys was of the generation of my parents. Our families lived not far from each other in Yardley. When I decided in 1965 to go to St. John's College, a school no one had heard of, I learned that Paul Comegys had graduated from St. John's and was proud of the education. I did not know that he and his wife had restored an old house in Maryland or that he sought the rehabilitation of Trenton, New Jersey, but I am not surprised.
