Not sure what to say?

Being a colon cancer survivor myself, I hate hearing about people like Paul who were less fortunate than I have been. I feel for your loss. I ran the NYC marathon in 2011 after completing my year of treatment and I'm returning this November to give cancer the finger again. Paul's involvement in Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation has inspired me to join CCCF which I did today. This November I'll be running for Paul, my friend Reid's wife, and all the others who have or are facing colon cancer.

I am sorry for your loss. I had dinner with Paul and ran the 2011 marathon with him as a member of the team. I am a colon cancer survivor and know what he went through and then to run that marathon was a true inspiration. I have thought of him often and told his story many times. My prayers are with you. Steve Furst

Sarah,
We are so sad to hear this news. Know that we will continue to lift all of you in prayer for strength and comfort. Johnette Thomas

David,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time of the loss of your son, Paul.
Sally Gambino Pierce

Please know that our family and the Jesuit Lacrosse community is thinking of and praying for Gray and the entire Cressy family.

Sarah, Gray, and Helen- I am so sorry for your loss. I know you may not remember me; I babysat Gray and Helen a few times when they were very young and y'all still lived in Shreveport. I still think of y'all often, and will add you to my prayers. Much love,

Sarah,
I am so sorry for your loss. Farron Peatross

Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss. You, the children and all of Paul's family will be in my prayers.

Paul and I were members of the Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation New York City Marathon Team in 2011. I will never forget meeting him 2 nights before the marathon at dinner. He shared the story of his battle with us and provided unbelievable inspiration. He went on to complete the marathon with Jill at his side. I have often thought about him and his battle over the last 3 years. Such a sad lose. I am better for having met him.
