Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to hear the unbelievably sad news of Paul's passing. We unfortunately only had the chance to meet Paul a few times when we came over to NZ a few of years ago. We had such a fun time with him and Suz over that New Year, he was such a lovely kind guy, it's so very sad we will not be able to spend more time getting to know Paul. Our thoughts are with Suz, all Paul's friends and his family. Rest in peace Paul

Paul, Paul tree!! Hahah do you remember I saved your contact under Paul Tree name because you crash on a tree, that story was so funny. Thank you for beign a true friend, you didn´t filter yourself to be straight with me when I was doing things wrong, thank you mate because your wise advice helped me to make better life decisions. You didn´t know, but between couple of friends we used to called you Dr Heart, for being such a good listener and giving good advice. You´ll be remembered for...

Heartbreaking to read this awful news. My sincere condolences and aroha to Paul´s family. Crockett, you were the voice of common sense and infinite wisdom amongst the chaos at our little house in The Chev and the years beyond, but man, didn´t we have some fun?! So many incredible memories made with you, and I´ll be eternally grateful for your sound advice, our late night sofa chats, your friendship, and your amazing heart. Rest easy, mate. You´re a special soul and the world just got a...

Paul was one of those rare people who made life better just by being in it. Thoughtful, kind, calm, and quietly confident, he was always there when it mattered-watching our son race karts, checking in times of trouble, or simply chatting, listening with genuine interest. We laughed a lot about him nearly throwing up in my racing simulator with the VR goggles. That was Paul: willing to try anything, quick to make friends, and always a pleasure to be around. Just like a mid-90s Corolla, our...

"Rocket" we will really miss you my friend. Thanks for all the good times we shared. Racing bikes, socialising, talking. You always paid genuine interest and cared about my family. It´s so sad you´re gone I´m glad we spent some time together recently. Miss ya mate

I was asked, who is that you are having coffee with, I could have said a fellow industry professional as we caught up regularly and talked a bit of shop, but I said that´s Crockett, my mental health counsellor as in truth he was someone who checked in, starting when I was going through the recovery phase of a smashed up knee, gave more than he received as a natural empathetic listener, and in turn inspired me to pick up the phone and do likewise for others. Paul will be remembered.

Dear Tom, Andrew, Michelle and family. I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Paul. Great memories of our children growing up in Whenuapai/Herald Island. Thinking of you all. Love from Lee Scott/Burnett and family.

I sure will miss our laughs together Crock. Thanks for being so generous and hosting me to stay at yours in Auckland, it was always so funny catching up and the time you and your mates taught me how to adapt my riding style on the sand tracks through the pine trees on a dirt bike - I had a ball. I´m so sad and will miss you mate. We met by accident in a Sydney bar with mutual friends, got chatting and it became a 25 year mateship. So many funny nights out and days just yarning. Miss you heaps...
