Not sure what to say?

Dear Jean,
We just returned from two weeks in Alaska and are saddened by your loss.

Although my memories of Paul flow from just one ocassion when we stayed with you, I still fondly recall that short time meeting you and learnig so much about our family history. I wish I had the opportunity to get to know Paul better, but even one encounter was memorable.

Our prayers are with you and your family.
Tom

If he didn't hear from me for a while, he would email me and ask "what happened?" Also he asked me...

Dear Jean,
Grief is perhaps the most difficult of human emotions to face, though it also has the potential for being the most therapeutic. Grief isn't a bad thing; it's the cost of having loved. If we hadn't loved, if we hadn't cared, we wouldn't grieve. And our lives would have been even emptier.

Keep you and your family in our prayers.
