Not sure what to say?

Dear Pat: I was sad to hear of Paul´s passing. He was a lovely person. He was also a great husband and father and I´m sure a wonderful grandfather as well. He made a huge contribution to Penn State and his students. Some of the fondest memories I have of my time in State College are of times spent at your home enjoying a good dinner and time with you and Paul and your family. I hope you find peace as you navigate your loss. Karen Kilara

To Tom and the rest of the Dimick family, I am so sorry for the loss of Dr. Dimick. He was a great Professor and was instrumental in my career as a Food Scientist. He will be greatly missed in the Industry and the Penn State community. Prayers and Blessings to the Family Rodney Smeltz- Penn State Food Science 92

I have very fond memories of Uncle Paul. We had many family get togethers with great food and laughter. A few specifics ... I remember playing football in his backyard and me being the designated rusher. I could never quite catch him when he was the quarterback. There were seven children between our two families and I remember Uncle Paul spending an afternoon with just me sailing on Colyer Lake just outside of State College. Uncle Paul always had time to talk when I would be in Borland...

Very sad to hear the news. One of the more challenging and rewarding instructors during my time at PSU. Fd Sci class of `89. My condolences to the Dimick family.

My fondest memories of Penn State revolve around the time I spent in the Food Science (1967-73, BS & MS). Dr. Dimick was certainly a big reason why I feel this way! It was a small department back then and we students got to know & respect our professors. He will be missed!

As a former student and friend of Paul and a friend of Tom throughout my working career, Paul was a credit to the Food Science Department and all the students he interacted with. He will be missed.
