Not sure what to say?

I worked for the Bay County Department of Social services for twenty five years. I worked in the the children and adult services units. On several occasions I was mandated by law to file petitions on vulnerable or abused clients. I found judge Doner to be a fair judge who looked out for our most vulnerable clients. Judge Doner was always interested in all of the facts so that the parties that needed assistance/safety from the court would be best served. He will be missed by all. My...

My sincere empathy to the Doner family. Judge Doner was a great boss to work for. He was a fair man and it wasn't beneath him to socialize with his employees. The judge and his staff would bowl on our lunch hour which was a lot of fun and then there were the Holiday luncheons that he treated us to, my favorite. May Judge Doner Rest In Peace.

Having moved to Midland Michigan, I just recently learned of Paul's death. I worked with Paul for most of the years he served as Probate Judge. I also worked in other countries for numerous judges and feel that Paul was not only one of the most knowledgable judges in the state but he possessed an instinctive ability to be fair to everyone. He was passionate about wanting to reach the halfway point on most difficult legal and administrative issues. It was an honor to work for him as his...

I am so sorry to hear this news. My prayers go out to the Doner family.

I practiced law in front of him. Just a stable, kind, wonderful judge and person. Was always kind to everyone in front of him. Just a community gem

My condolences to the Doner family. Not only was he a wonderful man but also a great person that I had the opportunity to have as a boss. May he Rest In Peace.

Doner Family: Paul Doner was a great man. Kind, witty, and welcoming. As a new attorney he welcomed many just like us to the practice and taught us much. As a friend, you could not ask for better. Our condolences . Randy and Barb Hayward

Dena and family.

To the Doner Family:
A great man has passed but he is in a better place...no longer suffering. I am glad I got to see him at U of M and again over lunch with Al and the family. Mr. Doner was a very influential person in my life starting with little league all the way through letters of recommendations for my college and professional career. He wasn't just a close friend's father but a man who stood for many things. I am proud to say I was a part of his life. I will miss his humor and...
