Paul Jerome Dubuisson, 86, of Slidell, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Slidell Memorial Hospital.   


Paul was born October 6, 1937 in Slidell, Louisiana to Frank and Claire Dubuisson.  He married Ruth Marie Strain Dubuisson on March 24, 1957.  He had a deep love for his family, fishing and his dog.  A lifelong resident of Slidell, Mr. Dubuisson retired from A&P Grocery and prior worked at Embree’s Bell Supermarket on Front Street in Slidell.  


He is preceded in death by: his brothers & sisters, Francis Dubuisson, Perry Dubuisson, Blanche Dubuisson Rogues, Rosalie Dubuisson Powe, Edward Dubuisson, Betty Dubuisson Brown, & Sylvan Dubuisson; his parents, Frank & Claire Dubuisson; his in-laws, Lloyd Strain, Sr. & Rebecca Garrett Strain; numerous nieces and nephews; and his loving wife, Ruth Stain Dubuisson.


He is survived by: two daughters, Diana Dubuisson Morgan & Karen Dubuisson (Fred Epperson); his grandchildren, Michael Louis Morgan, Jr. (Liz), Matthew Morgan (Nikki), Mitchell Morgan (Meghan), Margaret Morgan (Patrick) & Joel Epperson; his great grandchildren,  Noah Morgan, Sophia Morgan, Trinity Morgan, Alexis Morgan, Mason Morgan, Jacob Dulac, Gwendolyn Porter, Carmen Porter, & Olivia Porter; nieces and nephews, Glenda Guillot, April Sicks, Cindy Wood, Rebekah DarDar, Floyd Dubuisson, LJ Dubuisson, Lawrence Roques, Jeanne Chopin, Claire McDaniel, Marilyn Thorn, Mary Ellen Broussard, Michelle Camp, Susan Jordan, & Karen Rubin; numerous great nieces & great nephews; and family friend, Hilda Stripling.


The graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery (in Old Towne Slidell) will be held at a later date.
