Not sure what to say?

I was lucky to work with Mr. Eckert at Citizens Federal. It was a team atmosphere that I had the pleasure to be a part of, my condolences to his family.

Paul was such a great guy! It was a great experience working for him for almost ten years at Citizens Federal. We seemed like family. When visiting with him years later, he always wanted to know about former co-workers who kept in touch. Great memories always bring comfort. Prayers for comfort to his family.

My stepfather, Jimmy Ryan, NFL referee, 3I league umpire, insurance exec, Hanssen Sports Dept salesman, lovedPaul & enrolled me in his 1955 Summer Sports Camp, which galvanized my athletic future to the max! Barrel chested, tan model of humanity & health & kindness. Oddly, my sister, Michelle Davis passed 2days before?

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Eckert. A good friend and neighbor to the Riepe´s on East Columbia.

Something tells us, through many tears, Marcia probably wrote that obit. We can only imagine how proud you all must be for such a life well lived. And of course to his best attribute, his love for the Redbirds.

Sorry for your loss. Mike, Marcia, Susan and Sally my deepest sympathies.

Mike and family, I am so sorry for your loss.

A truly great educator and man...RIP
