I met Paul in the seventh grade and we became part of a close knit group of friends that shared life experiences, friendship and music over the next several years. Even then, Paul´s banjo was never far from his grasp, his amazing talent evident. I have been fortunate over the years that followed to stay in touch with Paul despite time and distance. I first met "Mr. Elwood" when my daughters attended preschool at Castle In The Air. I remember being so impressed at the different ways he introduced them to music. I often wondered what happened to him after that. My, what a wonderful life he lived!

Paul and I grew up just down the street from each other. I had no idea of the musical mark he eventually made in the world! Amazing!! Rest in peace now, Paul.
