Paul Emerson

I hiked many trails with Paul in the early 1990s and have to say I found him to be one of a handful of exceptionally interesting people I have known. His selfless and relentless efforts to help the underdog, the oppressed and downtrodden was something I will never forget. He had an incredible memory for terrain as well as events, people and geography. I think of him often to this day. His old ski boots hang proudly in my shop. David Nardinger. Helena, MT
