Read MoreI feel very sorry for the Fancher family´s loss of this amazing man. I´ve heard a lot of great stories about him (and his father) through the years from my best friend Becky Fancher Lentz. He has contributed so much to so many people. Even those he hasn´t met through his many years of research. Rest In Peace Mr. Fancher.

I was saddened to learn of Paul's passing recently. But, I was fortunate to have worked with him on the SAE Vehicle Dynamics Committee for a number of years. Paul had a fine mind and a broad understanding of Vehicle Dynamics. He was humble and thoughtful and made important contributions to our work. I will miss him.
