Not sure what to say?

Shirley,

We were so sorry to hear about Paul's death. May the wonderful memories help in this time of sorrow.

Dennis and Marilyn Kacy

Dear Shirley, Teresa and family,

I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear of Paul's passing. He is all of the things mentioned in this guest book and more. He was one of the biggest influences in my career as he hired me out of the ICU and taught me first hand to practice and love anesthesia. I cannot think of him without a twinkle in his eye and smile on his face. I will miss him along with all of you.

To the Family of Dr. Fatum,

I had the privledge and honor to work with Dr. Fatum in surgery at Butterworth Hospital (Spectrum). He was an outstanding anesthesiologist and an amazing person. I worked with Dr. Fatum and his ENT friend, Dr. Christian Helmus. I respected them so, that I always joked I would name my first born son after them. Christian Paul Lopez is now 16 years old. I hope it is a comfort for the Fatum family to know what a great role model and friend Dr. Fatum was. ...

To the Fatum Children,

Growing up down the street and around the corner, Dr. Fatum never had a problem with the noise and commotion we made with our "basement band."...consisting of pots and pans and various household items. He was quiet and gentle. What great memories. Losing a father is always hard even though we know he is no longer suffering. Many prayers to you...Anne Allen

Dear Fatums:

As we reflect upon the funeral mass today, we cannot help but be reminded of the impact and the influence parents have on each of our lives. Your Dad was some kind of father...It is very clear how much all of you loved and honored him both in life and at the time of his death. Take comfort in the fact that he knew always, how much he was loved.

Love, Tom and Patty Sprich

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Fatum family. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Dr. Fatum from our St. Mary's days. What a joy it was to know this fine man!

I will always remember Dr. Fatum for his humor throughout the days in the OR. He could always make me laugh. He will be missed.

To Teresa and family,
Words cannot express what a priviledge and honor it was to work with your father. I have so many fond memories of working with him at Butterworth in the PACU and the Same Day Surgery departments. He was truely one of the most compassionate, caring and respected physician I have ever known. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Teresa and the entire Fatum Family. I was sorry to hear about the loss of your father/husband. Dr Fatum was a very kind and gentle spirit. I will always remember when he came to visit my father in the hospital down in Naples. May your loving memories of him bring you peace.
