Dear Mickie,
Sorry to hearof the loss of your father. You, Barb Pitre and I had some wild times when we were growing up.

I remember growing up with Joe Firenza and how very proudly he always defended his heritage when neighborhood kids would tease him about being Italian. There is no question in my mind that Joe's pride of heritage and strengrh of character was due in large to Paul. I have always had a lot or respect for Joe, his two sisters and his folks. I never met Paul or Philomena personally but I have been able to reap the benefits of their hard work and devoted love through my dear friend Chris. Sam was a special guy. I first met him in 1980 when I started at Syracuse China and he always would come by my office anytime he came back to the plant after he retired and we would share a cup of coffee and Sammy would update me on all his adventures, especially the trips to the Casinos in Atlantic City. My condolences to the family.
