Paul Abraham Firestone

My sincere condolences. I attended NRA for one single year, 10th grade, 1980-81. Dr. Firestone was the first adult in my life who treated me with dignity and respect. In one single year I became and athlete, almost got rid of my stutter, learned self-control and the gift of perseverance. I was and still am blessed by Dr. Firestone, Mrs. Firestone and all the staff. Thank you.

I attended NRA for 7 years, graduating in 64. Through the years i have sharef with others hiw Dr. Firestone personally took an interest in my personal growth and development. Had it not been for that, i may not have achieved what i did. Though Dr. Firestone is no longer herr in body, he lives on in the minds, hearts and souls who remain and through whome, in time, that legacy will continue to the next generation. RIP. Shalome. .

Dr. Firestone made me the free thinker I am today. He was the greatest academic I ever knew, and yet I only matriculated at NRA in the 7th and 8th grades, between 1964 and 1966, but that shows you the impact he had on me!

I think of Paul often and miss him deeply, my friend, my mentor.

Oh my... I wish I had heard sooner. He was a good friend of and to my father, and I have very dear memories of Lydia and Teddy from our childhood. I can still remember Pearl so clearly Teddy, if you happen upon this, I'm also the last of my family, and I send you my deepest condolences. I'm sure you'll find they live very bright in your heart. I saw your Dad several times a few years ago, before my mother died, and we wrote on line to each other a few times. I'll miss him but hold him along...
