Friends, I burst into tears when I learned of Paul's passing. Those tears were for my loss of this brilliant, talented, thoroughly principled man. My deep thanksgiving for having known and collaborated with Paul in our work with the Botetourt Democrats. I appreciated his gentle suggestions and insights, and was awed by his patience and support.
