Chadwick Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC - New London Obituary

Paul William Foley of Warner, NH died at Concord Hospital on December 11, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Concord, the son of Paul and Nellie (Perry) Foley, and graduated in 1960 from Concord High School. Paul served in the US Navy from 1960-1965 and was an outstanding salesman at John Grappone Ford for over 35 years.

Paul married his childhood sweetheart Joyce Ford in 1963, and raised four children: Timothy Foley of Manchester; Jennifer Tolbert of Los Angeles, CA; Melissa O'Neill of Wilmot; and Jason Foley of Warner. He loved and adored his grandchildren: Benjamin, Katherine, Timothy, Emilie, Meghan, Lilly, and Molly.

Paul was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, NH Tres Dias, The United Church of Warner, and hosted numerous Fresh Air Fund Children over the course of 30 years. Summers were spent at the family camp on Tucker Pond where all were made to feel welcome, especially with a cup of coffee. He loved his family, his friends, his work, traveling, and working in his yard with Lilly on his tractor. Paul was a man of great integrity, spirituality, honesty, and compassion.

Calling Hours will be at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London on Saturday, December 14th from 2-4pm. A service of celebration and shared memories will be held at The United Church of Warner on Sunday, Dec. 15th at 1 pm with Rev. Bob Wyand officiating. Burial will be at the N. H. State Veterans' Cemetery at a later date.

Dear Joyce:
You and your family are in our prayers. Paul helped me thru difficult times in the early years. A man of compassion and wisdom.

It was such a pleasure knowing & working with Paul at Grappone. He always had a smile for everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Joyce: I am so sorry to hear that Paul has passed. Though I didn't know Paul well, I did experience his kindness and sense of humor when buying a car through him.

Thinking of the family at this very difficult time. Remembering the love he had in his heart, and his strength and passion to help others. Love, Paul Butler and family.

Dear Joyce,
So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Paul was a good friend and classmate, and whenever we returned to Concord for a visit, I would always stop by to chat with Paul and munch on pop corn in his office at Grappone Ford. Paul will be missed but never forgotten by his friends.
GO IN PEACE MY FRIEND.
