Not sure what to say?

Maj. Frat pinned my WO-1 bars on at VMFAT-101 in 1979. LtCol Frat was my CO a year later at MAG -15. MAJGEN Frat was my CG when I was back in Yuma with VMA-214 (the old VMFAT-101 hanger where I first met him). Great leader.

Frat: (Paul) memories still shine so bright; such a great friend. Time is so precious and swift- Bless You and Yours. JB

He was my Commanding Officer at H&MS-15 MCAS Iwakuni Japan 1980. He is one of a few Officers I would follow to the ends of the Earth no matter what the Mission. I owe the Commander my Life, for believing me when I was in a lot of trouble. After hearing my side, he said he would investigate, and make a decision, his decision was, I was Railroaded by my OIC, SgtMaj, and XO, all charges were dropped. I never got a chance to thank the Commander personally, I owe my Commander my Life;...

Paul, better known as "Frat" to his Corning NY friends at Northside High was an avid wrestler and loyal friend. When we last spoke, we laughed about who had the most stars in their careers. So proud of his contributions and achievements, God love him and his family.

I will always cherish the memories of our youth together in Corning. To his family, know that Paul was an admired man, one that not only served his country well, but will also be missed by many you don't even know. Sincerest condolences, and may you find the comforts of Gods blessings. Catching up with him via email over the last year has been special. I am proud to be able to still call him a friend.

Signal Charlie Dozo, call the ball.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Paul Fratarangelo, please look to the God of comfort, seek good friends, pray to God ask, for his loving arm to comfort you that you may comfort others." He will make you firm. ( 2 Thessalonians 2: 16,17)
