Not sure what to say?

I can´t believe it´s 13 years since his passing . His face and voice are imbedded in my memory and while I hardly did a much business with him the challenge was always there . When I made him laugh I can still see how his whole body laughed with me . He was and still is a legend .

'Say not in grief 'he is no more' but live in thankfulness that he was'
Hebrew proverb

An inspiring and generous man of wisdom, knowlege and kindness. Peace be with the Friedman family in their time of sorrow

Candice & I send our sympathies to Mark, Paul, JR., and your families on the passing of your father. I have many fold memories of Paul, Sr. and his passion for our industry. You are in our prayers.

Dear Friedman Family,
The world is a lonlier place now that Paul Sr is not here. I have known him my entire business career which now spans 40 years. I hope that each of you can celebrate his life and take from him the zest and joy he had in life. I know how proud he was of his children and it is a testament to his memory that his family has stayed in Birmingham and will carry on his tradition. My prayers and hope is that your grief may be short but your joy of his being will carry forth...

my sympathies to Paul, jr, Mark and the rest of the Friedman family. Paul Sr was truly one of the industry legends! I remember visiting the City Paper Co offices in the 1980's and viewing the "photo wall" in the "Big Cheese's" office!

I have the pleasure of working in the packaging field for the last 23 years. I first met Paul Sr in the late 80s and his Son paul Jr about the same time at the Atlanta trade show, over the years I have met Sons and grandsons all which have Seniors stamp on them. I watched as they grew up in the business under his leadership and I know he is proud of them as they continue on in the same fashion he would expect.

Paul, Sr. was such a wonderful man. I will treasure the time I got to spend working with him & will truly miss him. I think of his love for his family & joy for life & smile. My prayers are with you all.

My momma used to tell me about riding on the back of Paul's bike when they were young teenage sweethearts. Sandy & I joke around that we were "almost sisters" when truthfully I love her as if she really were. She and the entire Friedman brood adored their daddy. I would've been proud to call him mine too....such a mensch & loving role model!!

Paul, Sr was a blessing to everyone he met. He asked for the best in all and encouraged everyone to bring the best forward. He was a true roll model and he passed this on to his wonderful family. My prayers are with you. Love you.
