In my early twenties, my life was forever changed when I became paralyzed from the waist down after a tragic horseback riding accident. I waqs a patient of Papa Fry and later represented accident victims who became his patients. he was a skilled surgeon but I will remember most his treatment of people. His strong faith was always evident. As a fellow graduate of Notre Dame, he gave me a bit of special care but expected the extra yard from me as the attorney for his patien ts.
