I can count only a hand full of teachers and professors in my life who made an impact on me and Dr. Fuller was one of those. I have often thought back on those days attending his lectures and the one on one meetings in his office. I can still remember his soft southern accent, the gleam in his eyes, and the joy he exuded engaging his students. He was truly a southern gentleman in every sense.

I was so sorry to learn of Dr. Fuller's passing. It is with a heavy heart that I write these words. He guided me with wisdom and kindness as I negotiated college and beyond. I felt lucky to count him among my family's friends, and a friend he was. When I was grappling with losses in my own family, he was there for me. He imbued wisdom and empathy. He was a style of academic that cared about students first. Holding your family close to my heart.

I am named after Paul Fuller. He is my dad's brother and I am going to miss him very much. He is without question one of the smartest, kindest and caring person I have known in my life. He was very supportive of my family when Flop was in the nursing home and he was there for my dad at the end of his life. I am forever grateful to Uncle Paul for that as I am confident that it meant a lot to my dad.

I met Paul and Peggy when we volunteered for the Friends of the Library. I always enjoyed Paul's friendly smile and ready wit, and I wished I'd gotten to know him and Peggy better. I'm so sad we've lost Paul

Paul Fuller shared a rare combination of high expectations and unceasing kindness with his students and his colleagues throughout his distinguished life. By making us all better people, students, and teachers, he strengthened Transylvania while he was with us and for many years to come.

The Fuller family has always been the most graciously accepted family to our old neighborhood in latter years of our life. We will never forget them as long as we live.
It is with utter sadness that we learn of Paul Fuller's passing into the kingdom of heaven and our sincere condolences to his many friends, acquaintances and family members are bestowed this sadful day
May his soul rest in peace forever.
