Paul Ronald Gardinier

i was paul's fellow student at leuzinger high school in lawndale california. we were both in all the art/creative writing classes. he was one of three "hippie art guys". paul was so gifted. i especially remember a handbuilt "statue" that he created of eric clapton. it was truly amazing... i hope he kept it! God bless all of paul's loved ones.

I was shocked today to hear of Paul's death last Dec. I knew Paul for decades as one of my wonderful Alaska State Museum mentors whom I showered with questions over the years when I worked at the Sheldon Museum in Haines. I always enjoyed visiting with him when I was in Juneau. He once accidentally set me up for a good story. I had a couple spare hours so offered to help with an exhibit he was in the frantic final stages of setting up in the old building. He put me to work sanding and...
