Not sure what to say?

I too had wanted to pass on my condolances to Paul's family. I was raised in the same neighborhood with Paul in E. Lansing and went to school with him. I remember Paul as always being kind and intelligent. In 2002, at our 30th high school reunion, we had the most wonderful conversation sharing our memories about our old neighborhood, grade school and then we talked about our current lives. His love and pride for his family was so very evident and strong-- I came away feeling recharged...

Cynthia, Josh, Sammy & Rachel, We were shocked and saddened to learn of Paul's passing (from the Northwestern alumni news). Although you moved years ago, we would see him on the train from time to time. We will always remember his good nature and kindness. Our first encounter with him was when we moved to the house on Jarvis Avenue, next to yours. He saw us casing out our new home and casually observed, "you're admiring your new home: that's a good thing." Our deepest condolences.

I just learned of Paul's untimely passing. We went to Central school together in East Lansing, Michigan, and I will always remember Paul as a wonderful human being. My condolences to his family, who must miss him terribly.

Paul's greatest contribution to this world was his children, whom he loved dearly. Josh, Sammy and Rachel, I wish you all nothing but happiness and success for the rest of your lives. Please know that your father will be with you every step of the way. Your dad was an incredible person and it is so unfortunate that he left us all so early. He was a wonderful, sincere and thoughtful man who endeared much pain in his life for the sake of his children. I loved him dearly, miss him more than...

I will certainly miss Paul. We were EL '72 classmates and fellow Chicagoans, though we rarely connected outside of class reunions. He always impressed me as being intelligent, thoughtful & kind. My sympathies to Cynthia, Joshua, Samuel and Rachel, Evelyn and Laura.

Paul represented my organization for the last several years and did an outstanding job. It has been a pleasure working with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

I am very saddened to learn of Paul's passing. We grew up together in East Lansing, MI. He was a warm & caring person and I will always remember his wonderful smile. Our thoughts are with your family.

Dear Cynthia and family:
My wife Cheryl and I just now learned of dear Paul's sudden death. We are so saddened and shocked. I saw him on 11-11-05 at my former partner Dick Sawislak's retirement party and had a wonderful visit with him. I am proud to say I was his mentor at Sweeney & Riman lo these many years ago, and I will miss him deeply.
We will keep all of you in our prayers.
Mike & Cheryl Whelan
