My sincerest sympathy goes out to Paul's family.

Uncle Paul was my Godfather. During my adolescence, and at a very difficult time of my life, he provided guidance and friendship. He taught me the value of hard work and commitment, but perhaps most importantly, pride of accomplishment. Thanks Uncle Paul. I will miss you very much as will the so many others that you touched during your time with us.

I am greatly saddened by this news, and remember with nostalgic reflection the many hours Paul and I spent together, including walks home from school countless times in the years from 1935 to 1938. May he rest in peace. My sympathy to his wife and children.
