I was so saddened to learn of Paul´s passing. I knew him in China at both BLCU and at BFSU. In fact, we shared an office at BLCU. (I took this shot of him in our office at BLCU.) He was an extremely intelligent person and an excellent teacher! And, indeed, he loved China. My deepest sympathy to his family.
