Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the Gill family. Although many miles have separated us throughout the years, my family has fond memories of your parents. My mother, Ina Lee (MItchell) Sample was Paul's first cousin. Both of my parents, Delmar and Ina Lee spoke highly of both of your parents and enjoyed the visits their shared throughout the years. My family still owns the home place where your dad grew up. Come see us if you are ever in the area! Joy (Sample) Coles

Alan and Sara - My sympathy. I´m remembering lots of good times at SIU and Wesley Foundation. ( I was a bridesmaid in their wedding.) Gloria Nave Winn (Posey)

The Gills were the UMYF leaders when I was in junior high. Later, their daughter, Lori, taught our daughter swimming. And then later on Lori married our friend, Jim Connor. The Gills were faithful people.

We always loved your folks. They were wonderful people who loved each of you, God, and their ability to help others.

This couple were one in a million. Both elegant, kind, patient and welcoming. They did my taxes for years and it was always a joy to visit with both of them. God Bless them and their families.

Paul and Jan have been a part of my parents´ lives and therefore mine since they joined Wesley Church and lived around the corner in Normal. Jan was a beloved Sunday School teacher of mine and I remember both of the Gills singing in the choir. As I moved away from Bloomington, the Gills were an important connection before and after my parents, Will and Thelma Coatney passed. Heaven´s choir will sure be lovelier, now!!
