Had the honor of being with him in Normandy for the 75th celebration, and later he gave us a tour of the Mighty Eighth Museum.

I met Paul and Nancy on the National WWII Museum trip for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. We were on the same bus many times and I would record on my phone all the interviews that were being filmed on him. He and I bonded and his ability to remember the war and details like it was yesterday were just amazing. He loved to sing and he gave me one of his CD’s.
