Dear Beth and Sarah,
I am so saddened to learn of Paul's passing...very surprised to read it in the paper. You three have very a special spot in my heart in our time together at Small School. Paul was always such a strong supporter in so many ways. My heart goes out to you with all my best wishes.

Dear Beth and Sarah,
Your husband and Dad was a special man. I realize as I think about him ... every time we crossed paths, I always had a feeling of genuine welcome and warmth from him. He was one of those people who knew how to make you feel like you were a good friend no matter how close you were to him. He will be sorely missed. Please know our thoughts are with you.
with love,

Summer 2009: A very successful trip!
Dear Aunt Beth and Sarah,
I was so sad to hear about Uncle Paul's passing. I wish I could be there in person for both of you.
I'll always remember our father-daughter breakfasts with Uncle Paul, Sarah, my dad, and me.
No one was quite as good as Uncle Paul at reading "Newberry: The Life and Times of a Maine Clam" to us every summer as kids.
I loved him and I'll miss him a lot. I love you both, and know that I am thinking about you.
Love, Caitlin
