Paul A. Greenwood Sr., 77, of Taunton. Passed away at his home on February 20, 2017. Paul was the beloved husband and best friend for 55 years to Mary R. (Morris) Greenwood of Taunton. He was the loving father of Paul Greenwood Jr. and his wife Ann of Plymouth, Daniel Greenwood and his wife Donna Colado of Whitman, Robyn MacMillan and her husband Keith of Bridgewater and Thomas Greenwood and his wife Heather of Fall River. He also leaves his 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Paul was born in Boston to the late Lester and Ethel (Sweetser) Greenwood. He attended schools in Boston and graduated from Brighton High School. After high school, Paul joined the U.S. Army, where he served for two years and then the reserves. He was the Program Director for The ARC of the South Shore in Qunicy. Paul was very proud and thoroughly enjoyed his work with the special needs and disabled. He also worked with veterans as a job developer. Paul enjoyed the drums and watching the Red Sox but, his greatest joy was his family. He was a wonderful and devoted husband and father and he will be sadly missed. Visiting hours will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 23rd, 10 am at the funeral home, followed by a burial in the National Cemetery – Bourne, MA.
